Knowledge of accounting, taxation and business law is important to the success of business and financial managers in today’s dynamic world of commerce. Bramson ORT’s Department of Accounting offers a wide range of courses and programs for students interested in acquiring the skills that will better enable them to serve the accounting needs of professional clients and the organizations that employ them. Bramson ORT's accounting graduates will find interesting and rewarding careers in the areas of banking, business, credit, industry, and local, state and federal government. Courses in Peachtree, QuickBooks, Business Law, and Taxation are included in the curriculum. Our students can study for an Accounting Associate Degree (A.A.S), a Bookkeeper Certificate or an Accounting Diploma. The Degree program prepares junior accountants, junior auditors, cost clerk and tax examiner trainees. Graduates may advance to positions as accountants, auditors, managers, and tax examiners in different levels of business, industry, or service organizations.
