Bookkeeper Certificate
The Bookkeeper Certificate program at Bramson ORT College is designed for individuals wishing to learn the basics in bookkeeping and accounting. This program is an excellent option for those students hoping to gain a basic knowledge in bookkeeping, or brush-up on their accounting skills in a quick and timely manner.
Students will learn to analyze, verify and post details of financial transactions within small companies or within an accounting department in larger organizations. Topics that will be explored in the certificate program include, but are not limited to, principals of accounting, taxation and business management. Students are encouraged and prepared to become certified by the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB Exam) upon completion of their certificate program.
Moreover, the Bookkeeper Certificate provides students with the preparation needed to further their education and obtain either an Associate and/or Bachelor Degree in Accounting. Credits obtained by students while in the Bookkeeper Certificate program are transferable to two-year and four-year programs at Bramson ORT College and other colleges and universities worldwide.
In order to earn the Bookkeeper Certificate at Bramson ORT College, a student must complete at least 30 credits.
