Distance Learning Advantages

1. Wide Choice: Distance Learning provides a wide range of choice in academic programs without geographic boundaries.

Flexible Scheduling: Many employers find it difficult to release employees for on-campus study even when it is deemed good professional development. You can get on-line any time of the day or night for distance learning courses.

Commuting: For students who are home because of family commitments, disabilities, or lack of transportation, distance learning allows you to study from home.

The online Associate of Business degree is identical to the classroom versions of the Business program. Skills and knowledge acquired through the online degree program will mirror what is gained in the classroom. All the online distance learning classes use BlackBoard. The courses become accessible before or within the first week of classes.

What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is a web-based learning environment that enables educators to enhance on-campus learning and/or deliver distance learning by bringing their course materials, class discussions, assignments, and assessments (tests or quizzes) to the Web.
