Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program

The Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program provides funds that are earned through part-time employment to assist needy undergraduate and graduate students in financing the costs of postsecondary education. Participation in the FWS program is determined by students’ eligibility, need, and available funds.

The rate of pay and the number of hours of work depend upon available funding. However, hourly wages will not be less than the federal minimum wage. Students receive FWS awards after filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine their financial need. Bramson ORT College provides eligible students with on-campus and off campus employment for two semesters.

Complete details pertaining to the work-study program may be obtained from the Office of the Financial Aid.
