Bramson ORT College, is seeking a results-oriented person for the following:
Instructor, CISCO Instructor

Location:
Bramson ORT College  – Forest Hills or Brooklyn Campus, NY

Skills Required:

Teaching position for a credentialed or certified CISCO instructor with expertise in CISCO systems.  Individual must have experinence in as a CISCO Trainer, College Education, newtorking, network IT system administration,  CCNA, CCNP and CCIE certified, computers, routers, switches, technical training experience, technical certification or proven track record in presenting technical information to audiences.  3+ years of configuring and managing Cisco equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide students with the skills necessary to succeed in the CISCO systems.
• Be available to advise and implement CISCO Laboratory equipment.
• Design, administer and teach the following courses, Foundations for Cisco Routers, Routing and Switching and Interconnecting CISCO Devices.
• Design, administer and teach CISCO systems laboratory module.
• Maintain a teaching assignment for each module.
• Plan course instruction based upon an approved syllabus/outline provided to ensure that course content and learning objectives are met
• Distribute a copy of the module calendar to all students at first class meeting
• Design, administer and grade examinations
• Actively maintain student retention by keeping accurate daily attendance records, calling absent students,
• recording absentee information in roster, and communicating any attendance concerns to the Program Chair
• Be available to advise, tutor and provide other student with assistance as needed

Requirements:

• At Least a MS Degree with 3+ years of configuring and managing Cisco equipment.
• 3+ years of teaching experience preferred
• CISCO certifications - CCNA; CCNP; CCIE
• Ability to deliver Networking concepts to students
• Ability to apply diverse teaching methods to students of various ages and learning styles
• Excellent communication skills, organizational and motivational skills
• Strong team orientation
