Title: Electronics Instructor
Bramson ORT College is seeking day and evening Electronic Instructor for its Forest Hills and Brooklyn Campus. Four years of electronics work experience required.  Knowledge of Basic Electricity, Semiconductors, Digital Electronics, Telecommunications, and Computer Architecture.

Location:
Bramson ORT College  – Forest Hills or Brooklyn Campus, NY

Skills Required:

Full knowledge of direct current circuits; alternating current circuits; electromechanical devices and systems; digital circuits; semiconductors; operation and maintenance of AC/DC power supplies; basic soldering techniques; electrical safety; operation and maintenance of RF electronic circuitry; knowledge of NYC Electrical Codes; operation of microprocessors; power supply operation and maintenance; use of various types of test equipment used in the maintenance and repair of electronic equipment; and troubleshooting procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Teaches material from approved curriculum and develops daily lesson plans to include instructional aids.
• Participates in school retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
• Motivates students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process.
• Completes professional development and in-service activities in accordance with college standards.
• Maintains expertise in subject area and recommends improvements in curriculum design.
• Instructs students in laboratory safety procedures if applicable.
• When possible, participates in core course academic support programs, certification programs, and student professional associations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years applicable experience in teaching electronics.
• Masters degree as Electrical Engineer
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills required.
• Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material.
• Experience in organizing and writing reports and presentations of a technical nature.
